[obol] Boring Loggerhead Shrike diet observation

Steven _?_, Gert and I found the shrike today around noon along the
aforementioned church access road on Hwy 212 east of Boring. The gates were
closed but I stopped by the church office and was told the public was
welcome to walk the road. The bird was on the west side of the road the
entire time.

I posted a couple photos on my Flickr page

One shows the shrike appearing to swallow a dried berry.  Several times it
ducked down into the brambles beneath its elevated perch. I assumed it was
chasing insects. I never saw it take a berry but found the image while
sorting through the photos.
