also, insert5 could be used to turn on and off color announce and insert c
could be used to tell the color of what's under the active cursor. whether
that cursor be the simulated mouse or the pc cursor or the NVDA object
review cursor. The easiest way to do this would be to just let NVDA read the
rgb values of the color and the user could give color names to these values
or maybe names could be given to the most common values such as 000000000 on
000000000 for black or maybe 000000000 on 255255255 for black on white.
Maybe this could be put in a .ini file for the user to edit.
example:
colors.ini
rgb_value = 000000000
name = 0
If name is set to 0 then NVDA just reads the rgb value. But if you set name
= black then NVDA will say black. Also being able to simulate the mouse
would give us a rudimentary way to use some of those tricky edit boxes in
excel like the f2 edit cell edit box that currently reads nothing.
Also I found a program or two on google that converts python projects to vb
projects so maybe if it were converted to visual basic NVDA could render
pages quicker? I'm not sure because I'm not really a programmer. Just
throwing out suggestions.
Oh, and also, do you have plans for laptop users that can't get to the
insert key?

I certainly think that if we were able to review the screen as we are in
other screen readers, NVDA will be right up there with the commercial
screen readers. Again, though, this will be a complicated feature to
implement and I respect the work that Mick has put into this project
already.

Hi,
A suggestion for NVDA. Thunder doesn't have video intercept support
either. But you can use the mouse by using the numberPad. What happens is
thunder uses the keyboard to simulate mouse movements. Whenever the mouse
moves over something, thunder tells you what the visual mouse pointer has
moved over. Thunder Maybe NVDA can have this simple mouse movement as
well along with left and right button single click, double click, and
left and right button lock/release for drag and drop. Also, tones could
be used when you move up or left the tone goes up and down and right the
tone goes down or something like that.
Also the number of pixcels the mouse moves could be set in configuration
manager.

Hi folks!
I have now finished translating NVDA into Hungarian! I tested it out
with Windows Vista, and all messages came in Hungarian. I think my
problem is, I think, that Windows XP is in English. This might have
caused NVDA and MSAA to think that I am English and that is why half of
the things were in English, and the other half in Hungarian.
I have sent the file to about 3 other people, whose native language is
Hungarian and know little English. Just to make sure, they will test
the mo and if any issues occur, they'll report it to me.
I will send it to Mick later on ( maybe 1 or 2 weeks ) , so that he can
put it in the next NVDA release.
I love NVDA and now have begun to use it as my everyday reader.
Best Regards: Tomi
