[nvda] Re: windows vista

Hi, Narrator has improved somewhat, but it tends to be sluggish compared to the Narrator found in 2000/XP. I'm not sure if it's a bug, but I can however duplicate this sluggishness when using the TTS engine provided with Narrator with NVDA. So it may be a TTS problem, and not a problem with Narrator itself. Hope that helps.

Hi, I have heard a lot of talk about windows vista. I haven't tried it yet, but was wondering if narrator was improved at all. I saw in the beta it might possibly work in a dos window. I know it is nothing like nvda, but was just interested in knowing if it was really improved or not.
