the prompts and event messages do not read automatically.
This is not very helpful. Please describe the application.
Is it a text console (DOS style) application?
Describe the controls in the application. Is it a single edit field whose name changes?
Where are the prompts appearing?
What do you hear when you press insert+upArrow?

I believe
those messages should be read automatically. I am not just talking about
the game, but in other dialogue boxes as well.
Other dialog boxes? What messages? Provide thorough examples with well defined steps to reproduce the problem, along with the actual results and the results you expected.
