That very much depends on the software front end on your machine I guess. At
a guess, it may be like that as if you move about, you would need to enter
the password for the network you are connecting to, surely?

Useing NVDA, I have to turn on wireless everytime I turn on this computer to
connect to the internet. Why is the wireless lan n the asus always defaults
to off? And how can I make it default to always being enabled?
