[nvda] Re: what to call NVDA?

I agree with you, but I work with a guy that says he won't use AVG Free because
if it wasn't junk it wouldn't be free.

So, to the developers I would suggest one possible name additional for a second
version of the software. There should be an NVDA Pro for those people who just
don't think that they can lower themselves to use free software. Of course, we
know that those are usually sighted techies who are stuck in the fish camp and
are too lazy to learn another software, and barely know the shark software
without using their mouse to click their way through a demonstration because
they won't lower themselves to learn keyboard equivelants.

Just think you could change the name that is displayed to NVDA Professional,
charge $800 for the current version, and $200 for each upgrade. Then use that
money to develope NVDA. Of course, under the hood the pro version would be
exactly the same as the free version.

: call it free and open source software and if they still don't like it then
: they can just delete it and continue to spend hundreds of dollars a year to
: be able to use their computer. That was a catchy enough name for me to use
: it. grins
