this is another prob msg/ will try one more time, and if it doesn't
go out save it for a batch send out later when the connect clears, or I
get home tonight.

These are mp3 down-loads that I'm talking about,
so don't know if the i-player is involved, but I am aware of the ever
changing nature of BBC audio content delivery. I often got stuck in the
console when trying to listen with real player a year ago.
I think Alasdair is maybe on vacation, as he has not replied to any of
the personal e-mails I have sent this last week.

The more I think about it, the more I think I was listening to one
podcast and saved another at the same time.(not listening to radio on
winamp?) The rest of what I wrote should be correct.
I just tried to duplicate the crash, but only got a few secs of silence
when I checked "show hidden and deleted items"., and then the list of
BBC podcasts I was checking out went away.(didn't do anything like that
in the morning, but just wanted to see how stable the whole thing was)
Might have been a fluke this morning...
Cheers.

Alasdair, if you're out there:
I have enjoyed using the "accessible podcatcher" that is part of the
webie suite of blind-user friendly aps, but this morning as a down-load
finished NVDA stopped talking, and podcatcher would not respond. I was
listening to streaming audio (winamp if I remember) while down-loading a
podcast, and after checking down-loaded file size in a standard folder
in my docs everything froze. .
I had to go in and kill all webie processes. Fortunately nvda could
still read me the name of a process when I typed it's first letter using
sysinternals process explorer. I wish this ap could be completely
accessed with NVDA, as I use it for ;;my task manager.
Also I saw a mention of a web ie beta, but when I went to the d-load
page could not find it. What's up with that? Saw a ref to JFW crashing
with the podcatcher in some ver also?
Keep up the good work.
Burt Henry
