[nvda] Re: video system hooks in NVDA

It's not straight code injection, so there's nothing wrong with it in that sense.

It's ok, they could just have a .py file on the website for installing display hooks; let whoever wants to install it, do so. I'd be the very first to download it, though, and I'm sure many more are waiting for it.

Hi,

I didn't say anything about u3 so not applicable I don't think.

I do as it happens I use nvda on a u3 drive and I have an ordinary usb drive.

I'm not being difficult just don't see where this is leading?

I don't know why folks are getting in a state about display hooks it would enhance the screenreader.

I can see that it could be a problem with window's update. if the screenreader is injecting code into the program and vice versa.

All the best.

No it wont.

System access does it and it works fine on a pen.

Hi,
I found some sites that may helpimplement system hooks into NVDA.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms793425.aspx
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms797887.aspx

for more sites, go to the msdn library and search system hooks and
refine by win32 com.
