[nvda] Re: update and thankyou note

The firefox issue sounds like some kind of security issue to me. I do not know what you are running it on, but I know in xp sometimes I get dire warnings when i click links, but I tell it to go awayy usually. Avg has of late taken to telling me stuff i do not need to know about websites as well and really its just all a bit too much when its not a serious problem in the first place.

Subject: [nvda] update and thankyou note

just to inform list members who were so helpfull last week, that i manniged to run NVDA portable but unfortunatly to no avail.
while firefox didn't crash, it still kept throwing me on to the desktop.
i also kept getting the following message:
secure desktop - NVDA access denied..
however, i still have my trusty webbie browser to fall back on.
spent most of yesterday trying to find out how to download and install flash plug ins so that i can listen to the county games on radio lancashire.
you need hardly ask - as per usual, i failed misrablely.
i'm really glad the rest of you seemingly find thees thins straight forward - as for me, i've clearly still got a hell of a lot to try and learn.
thanks once again - good luck and take care - Ron Nuttall
