[nvda] Re: tips on useing the mouse emulator program

It is a conflict in many ways, since that numpad is used for NVDA commands,
where the mouse emulator is needed with the numpad changed to "numbers," to
make it use similar commands as JFW or Window-Eyes, hmm. It seems it might
be an idea to find a way to have NVDA simulate a left or right click on an
object rather than installing another program for mouse emulation since many
of us don't even have a mouse connected to our computers, and if we did,
when it moves it is so confusing as to be, most of the time, not practical
to use.

A mouse emulator program "emulates" a mouse, i.e. it tries to give
you mouse functionality even though there is no actual mouse
attached. ( It makes the computer believe there is a mouse. Windows
xp - and I assume newer versions of windows also) have their own
native mouse emulation though i never got that to work. Also both
jaws and window eyes provide mouse emulation. For example, wen you
move the jaws cursor in jaws, it pretends to be a mouse and you can
actually execute mouse movements and mouse clicks with that.

nvda at the present time does not provide mouse emulation, which is
why I guess Josh tried to find a mouse emulator program to work with nvda.

All mouse emulators I know, whether part of a screenreader program or
independent utilities, use the numberpad to emulate mouse movements,
that is they use the keys on the numpad to move around the mouse
cursor and to perform mouse click functionality.
