Hi, I am going on vacation in a few weeks and need a portable e-mail program to

I use Thunderbird 3 as my primary email client, as does Mick, with few problems or crashes. However, as noted by someone else, Thunderbird 3 is still in development. Thus, it can't officially be called stable.
If so, what is the best version to look for?
You probably want to be running at least 3.0b2. I"m not sure if there is a portable version of this.
