[nvda] Re: talking computer with NVDA

I don't know what the web references are off hand, but bart pe and ce discs are bootable windows xp diagnostic discs, like linux live cd's that you can talor to your needs. You can use them for network deployment, backup and restore, virus scanning and other clean up chores, hardware testing, and all kinds of nifty stuff.

I have a friend in Ireland who's doing all kinds of nifty things like this. Before the holidays they were making a bart pe disc with nvda slipstreamed into it along with usb drivers for a urtle beach roadie card.

The cool thing about nvda is that it's accessible enough for purposes of navigating simple desktop and windows componants and even running an antivirus such as nod32 or backup and recovery tools very comfortably, and it doesn't need a video hook which would otherwise require some very tricky manoovers.

So I'm sure what you want is quite possible.

Erik

Hi,

Is it possible to make an unattended windows installation so a blind person can reformat their computer doing unattended install of xp or vista and during creation of the unattended cd is it possible to integrate NVDA onto it so NVDA upon the reformat, NVDA starts automatically and you have a talking computer from the get-go?
