Well, I'n not running from source and don't have Python myself. I think the
writing of such a piece of software is in no way trivial though, as to make
it useful, you would need to be able to make it easier at the interface
level, and then convert the parameters entered into the Python script you
would need to do that config operation.
My brain hurts just thinking about it.

You can already configure NVDA from the NVDA menu. Scripts are not managed
by a script manager, but you can write appModules in Python and drop them
in.
