[nvda] Re: snapshot 2536 portable doesn't speak

In this case I think its nvda actually, from the comments in the thread. I'll not worry unduly.

well let me see.

search for it on microsoft website.
get the latest windows installer, www.softwarepatch.com should have it I think for xp its 4.5
Now install that.
if this does not work there is a prosedure to fix this.
but I never save dit.
it involves stoping the msiclient, unregging it then deleting registry enteries to do with this then reinitialising the client.
Its somewhere on ms support.
I have no idea what causes it as its only happened once on a system here.

Oops. Yes - the r2536 snapshot is *very* broken. I'm working on the problem now. Sorry.
