Hi allI am running yesterday's snapshot of NVDA under windows 7 release candidate, on a 15-inch MacBook Pro thanks to the working of boot camp. I am trying to figure out how to read the lines of output from the command prompt, line by line. I would suppose that this would involve the use of the read text in object commands, I think which are usable by the numpad keys, 8 for prior line etc. The thing is that my computer does not seem to recognize its imbedded keypad when I try to enact those commands. I figured I would set the keyboard layout to laptop, but I haven't noticed anything very notable. What is laptop layout supposed to change? I was not able to find this in the online documentation.
Thanks much and its pretty impressive how well NVDA seems to stack up against other screenreaders in this new windows environment. Justin Harford To post messages to the list send email to
