[nvda] Re: question searching the wiki and a suggestion or 2

I don't know what happens in Firefox when you issue the find command. The Internet Explorer MSAA buffer hasn't been rewritten yet. In its current state, the find command doesn't work reliably and the entire performance of NVDA in terms of loading pages is so slow that I never use NVDA with Internet Explorer. This, along with the improper functioning of the find command and the fact that there is no skip blocks of links command, at least none that I know of, makes current use of Internet Explorer very unsatisfactory.

As far as finding commands is concerned, I can't tell from what you wrote if you used the key describer while in Internet Explorer. It doesn't matter what page you are on or where. Going through the alphabet while the key describer is on will tell you what letters do if they are commands. the key describer tells you specific commands and what it tells you varies depending on which program you are using. I think it would be a good idea to expand the list of commands in the NVDA window and the command you mention should be included there. Any experienced Internet user is going to want or need to know how to turn the NVDA buffer on and off.
