[nvda] question searching the wiki and a suggestion or 2

Hi. I haven't done it before, but I was trying to
search the wiki for something. It didn't even tell me
there were no results, there's no feedback at all. And
when I saw the following lines:
For more information about searching NVDA Info Wiki,
see
Searching NVDA Info Wiki
I clicked on the
(Searching NVDA Info Wiki)
link, and it told me I had to log in to edit the page.
I don't want to edit the page, I just want to read it,
but that doesn't currently seem possible. What's up
with this? I wanted to find out if the shortcut key
for turning on and off the virtual buffer pass through
was mentioned anywhere at all in the wiki, because I
sure couldn't find it by browsing. I had to search the
list archives even to find out how to do that, and
that's not cool. It aught to be in the wiki, but if
it's already there and I just missed it I don't want
to be redundant. It would be even cooler if it were in
the main NVDA window along with all the other useful
shortcut keys listed. And while your at it, you might
want to mention that pressing t in an internet
explorer or firefox window takes you to the next
table. I found that out by just pressing every letter
of the alphabet at the top of an IE window and seeing
what happened. I'm also in the process of trying to
find out why the find command: control+f only works
once. If you want to find something new you have to
unload nvda and reload it. The excuse for my ignorance
is that I haven't used NVDA all that much since I
installed it except to read the task manager when
Window Eyes crashes, but I want to use it more now
because I'm starting to learn esperanto and window
eyes has this bug that causes it to ignore the default
settings of any synthesizer that isn't English or
eloquence, so it won't permit espeak EO to recognize
the modified characters, but NVDA does. NVDA also
reads numbers in other languages correctly with voices
that are not eloquence. Kudos to the developers for
that! Thanks.
