And yes by the way, the files you mentioned are sort of like Jaws script
files.

As far as transfering settings from one computer to another, the only file
you will need to have is the nvda.ini file. The py and pyc files are the
source code files and the compiled files. It does help to have a bit of
understanding about the Python language before making changes to any of
the py and pyc files.

Subject: [nvda] .py and .pyc files?
Hi friends,
I've just been moving my nvda settings over from my desktop instalation
to my mobile instalation, and I've come across things like msim.py and
msim.pyc, msmsgs.py and msmsgs.pyc, and a few others, mostly microsoft
applications. Are these like the equivilant of jaws script files or
window-eyes set files? Can they be scratched out in charcole on cave
walls, or do you have to have space age technology and knowhow to make
use of them?
Thanks,
Erik
