[nvda] Re: processes not terminating

hmmm there is a jqs service, you should not need to uninstall, at first you
were able to uninstall java, but each update installed seperately.
so you would have to delete the offending java installs.
I do note now that the later versions from 6.13 on will override themselves
rather than putting in new installs of themselves.
this means no more having to refresh accessbridge and something they should
have done in the first place.
there are services, jqs.exe which is for java caching and is part of one of the
addons in ie.
if you end jqs.exe in the process list then it probably will uninstall but who
knows, until 6.12 there was not this extra service, sun no doubt will fix this
issue in the next version, its probably noted somewhere by now.
There should be no need to remove java or access bridge or reinstall it, etc.
if your system has the java as it used to be you can always uninstall all javas
and then reinstall all javas again.
Although the new installers should fix all those for you.
I should note at this point that java web installer will not install java with
ie8.
However the offline full install will install fine and java will run.
I am actually quite happy with this release, no need to refresh and everything
is in one directory where it can be located.
no need to refresh because as far as things are concerned its all in the same
location.
I'd still fall back on the old msjvm as some stuff still requires it to run
although java enabled sites with the sun system actually are sometimes more
accessible than sites without it.
Ok I admit native programs are not so accessible in general but web sites with
java imbedded are fast loading and quite good.
