Its interesting to find out after some investigations that my Java problem
revolves around the fact that the uninstaller in the updater for jre being
told it cannot uninstall as a process is still running. Sound familiar.. I
thought so as well.
Could it be I wonder that one of the recent updates to Windoze has made a
new bug?
The way around the Java problem is to turn the process off and if it still
won't have it, you uncheck it in msconfig and reboot and then install the
update.
I guess it could be that Sun have just screwed up with their process in the
earlier update, but its a huge co-incidence considering the problems nvda
has had in this respect in the last month or so. Anyoen else had this
problem with Java runtime update to the 14 version?
