This is a different issue. The original issue relates to whether the correct item is read when pressing delete in the message list.

is there an option in NVDA that can stop reading when found a same
character, e.g. a long deshes line or a long underscors line?
A long line of contiguous dashes should be truncated to five. However, a long line of underscores won't currently be truncated. This is a bug in the dictionary entry regular expression which handles repeated characters.
