[nvda] Re: nvda-project.org relocation

Hi all,

Things didn't run as smoothly as we had liked. Just last night (Australian time ) we had to change the type of server our new host is providing us, from Open VZ to Xen (it was impossible to run all what we need with no swapspace). But anyway, as we had to swap the servers over pretty fast, this may yet again delay dns a little bit. In fact, right now it may be possible that some people will not be able to get to nvda-project.org at all, as the IP address of the server changed again.

However, hopefully by tomorrow (sunday, australian time) things should have all settled down, and everyone will be able to again access all the website and other services.

Sorry about all of this, but we believe that in the long run, things will be much better.

Mick

Hi,

Well development will go on hold for a couple of days while other
infrastructure gets sorted out, like subversion commit passwords and the
like. So until that gets sorted out, the old and new sites should be the
same. So there should be no need to access one site over the other
before the DNS propagates.

And on that, I was checking it in 3 places including my home PC here in
Israel and they now all show the new IP address.

Geoff.
