[nvda] Re: nvda_snapshot_trunk-r2295_portable crashing on my flash drive

Was the debug log taken from the system %temp% path that Jamie said might have something relevant to tell us. Was an attachment FWIW.

Although the exact same set of files runs fine on my C: drive, when I

the normal startup sound, followed by two error sounds (slightly
different), and that's all.
Please attach a log file; see below.

Can't remember off-hand where to check the log file etc?
Start -> Run, type
%temp%
to access your temporary folder. Then find nvda.log.
The catch is that you need to do this immediately after running the bad
copy of NVDA; i.e. before starting another copy of NVDA. Otherwise, your
log file will be overwritten. I suggest you try using another screen
reader (Narrator if you have no other choice) to copy the log file out
before starting a good copy of NVDA again.
