[nvda] Re: nvda help

Yes, byut from my tests, the option it alights on in the menu is the one to run ie install, the item in the inf file and thus all that is required is to hit return.

Am I wrong in thinking that if someone has not selected "always perform
the same action for this type of drive" or something to that effect,
(which some other person's computer probably won't have) you are
actually choosing the first option on the windows menu that pops up when
you insert your usb-drive?
This type of auto-run should be included with the NVDA zip pack at any
rate in my opinion.

I created a file called autorun.inf in the root of the external drive with
following content:

[autorun]
open=nvda\nvda.exe
Action=Start NVDA
icon=nvda\nvda.exe
shell\NVDA="Start NVDA"
shell\NVDA\command=nvda\nvda.exe

Now, when I insert the drive, a screen comes up and I need only to press
enter to start NVDA.
