It seems to have gone away in the more recent snapshots though, so fingers
crossed. I do wish it could read those error messages live in Outlook
Express though. Its obviously some kind of character set or rtf field that
nvda cannot cope with. If you cut and paste the error, it will read in, for
example Wordpad.

I don't know when you will see this as my SMTP server is down, but a weird
thing occurs with nvda when the error,
You have unsent messages in your outbox comes up when you want to exit or
change identities, nvda stops saying anything. Not only that but it
freezes and even a batch run nvda.exe -q gives error exiting nvda. If you
then close the offending window by waiting till another error occurs,
which in this case was the one containg the smtp error, then things come
back to life and nvda will close or carry on.
Weird but annoying.
