[nvda] Re: nvda and outlook express

I'll use that version and see what's gonna happen. What synth are you using by
chance?

Yip, I'm running trunk version R3093. I also thought I should be able to use OE
fine. But doesn't seem to be working when I try to read the body of the emails.
Reading the list of emails that's in the inbox works nicely though

Kind regards,

Mike

It depends on what version of NVDA you are using. If you are running one of the
recent snapshots, then you shouldn't have any trouble. If, however, you are
using 0.6P3 or something similar, then your best bet is to make OE convert all
it's mails into plane text.

Subject: [nvda] nvda and outlook express

Hi,

When I try to start outlook express, nvda goes silent when entering the
password. Once password has been entered, nvda will read the list of emails
nicely as I arrow up and down the list. But the moment I tri to read the actual
text of the email, nvda goes quiet.

Are others using nvda with outlook express on here? If so, what's the trick to
get it to work?

Kind regards,

Mike
