Has anyone noticed that if you are a bit impatient and do a start while the
machine is still booting but after the desktop appears, you can get two
copies running at the same time, Very strange, luckily, quitting leaves just
one!

Correction: the release is called 0.6p3.
Your impression was not misguided. :) However, there are a few problems
that need to be resolved before we are willing to make a release. The main
issue is that the installer copy of NVDA freezes for some people during
the uninstallation of a previous version of NVDA. Also, we may accept some
documentation updates.
It will hopefully be released early in the new year. Sorry for once again
missing an estimated release date.
