Hi Jamie,
I installed the r2615 version on another machine and, on this one, I had no
freeze problem during uninstall.
The installer I ran was exactly the same than the one I ran on my own
machine where it froze.
Both systems run XP at service pack 3 so I cannot really imagine the
difference.

Correction: the release is called 0.6p3.
Your impression was not misguided. :) However, there are a few problems
that need to be resolved before we are willing to make a release. The main
issue is that the installer copy of NVDA freezes for some people during
the uninstallation of a previous version of NVDA. Also, we may accept some
documentation updates.
It will hopefully be released early in the new year. Sorry for once again
missing an estimated release date.
