As Aleksey says, the eSpeak Russian voice is not good at the moment.
The "r" sound is difficult for eSpeak to make. There are other
problems, perhaps the Russian voice should be re-made from the
beginning.

eSpeak has a Chinese voice (voice name "zh"). Make sure you use eSpeak
version 1.36 of later. Also you need to add and compile the extra
Chinese dictionary from: http://espeak.sourceforge.net/data . This is
basically a dictionary of pronunciations for Chinese characters which
is not included in the basic eSpeak distribution because it's large and
most people don't need it.
