Josh, please start a new message when starting a new topic, rather than
replying to an existing thread which is totally unrelated.
I'm also very much for this mouse movement idea, although Windows does
actually have a mouse movement keystroke mode in-built (never used them
though, so can't comment on it much). It would probably have to be a
toggled mode of the numpad, which might be a bit of a pain. Hmmm. The
windows key or alt+shift is an option, but some keyboard dont' have a
windows key, although fewer and fewer now.

possible or not, but maybe you could make dectalk access32 or a special
USB version of ESpeak and lock ESpeak or Dectalk into NVDA so that you'd
have a synthesizer on your USB stick along with NVDA.
Any commercial software is out of the question for licensing and cost
reasons. Even if we could distribute the software free, we would
probably have to pay for an SDK license. This would also defy the open,
free nature of NVDA somewhat. Creating a USB version of ESpeak would be
a great option, but we're not sure how to pull that off yet, as SAPI5
requires that the synthesisers be added to the registry and doing it
otherwise requires writing our own audio code for ESpeak.
