[nvda] menus not speaking again

Hi I suppose as nobody has responded, this strange quirk of nvda is only happening to me then.
I ask as I was doing my usual of selecting a person from the address book of OE, and then wrote an email to that person, and when I went to try to bring down the menus again, I could not get a peep out of it. Likewise an Explorer window menu did not speak either.# 

I had to shut down nvda, and open it again to get it back.
