If its anything like the Dolphin software, you can have both run and simply
turn off the other screenreader when both are running. Of course you get
the interesting concept of two voices while you do theis!
I was given a couple of routines to shut one and open the other from the
desktop, but I found after a couple of switches runadllasan app kept
falling over for some reason.

Oh yes, you can certainly do that, but you'll get no prompts at the logon
screen because NvDA still cannot run as a service.
Hope that hlps,
Orhan.

Hi,
You can turn off automatic start JAWS feature and just start using NVDA
after you log on to Windows, but you'll need to make a shortcut to NVDA
in your startup folder.

Hi, everyone. I have Jaws but I will use NVDA more. How do I make it
the default screen reader? Thanks very much for your help.
