[nvda] Re: isn't NVDA written in python?

Speaking of running NVDA? I don't mean to sound crazy at all, but there a possibility that the NVDA manual could have another update? As John Hines has made an NVDA ISO from CD, as that I'm running it from a CD as I write, which works even better than on the C drive, any change a link could be posted to his web site in the "downloads" page, or have "snapshots" as well in .ISO form? I understand the portable version for USB drives, but for CD? ... I'd update the manual to say that NVDA comes in 3 versions:
NVDA Installer;
NVDA Portable (USB)
The NVDA Card (NVDA on CD-Rom)
I'd make the snapshots myself, dialup isn't the greatest thing for uploading things. I'll try if I have to do it myself. I'm just wondering if snapshots in .ISO format could be done. Either that, or just the latest version when it comes out? Version 6 is gonna be a cool update for sure! The USB portable version of NVDA can be used for CD-roms, however why do it manually if John can do it so well! And I love this ISO Recorder by the way, works way nicer then Nero!
That's all for now, talk to ya all later!

Well it probably would not do much of anything at the present time. NVDA is getting its information from MSAA, IAccessible and a bit from IAccessible2. The speech output is also SAPI based. It may be possible however to run Windows under emulation on the mac and run NVDA in the Windows environment. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tomas Valusek" <tvalusek@xxxxxxxxx>

Hello,

NVDA depends on Windows accessibility solutions, so on Mac, it would be necessary to rewrite its part gathering accessibility info.
