[nvda] installing snapshots

Sometimes I install snapshots (with installer) without uninstalling previous
versions of NVDA. I install new snapshots right over the old snapshot and
NVDA apparently removes the old version during installation.
Should I always uninstall previous versions before downloading new
snapshots? Does uninstalling first allow for a cleaner install or does it
really matter?
I'm running Vista Home Premium.
