[nvda] Re: how do i make another browser my default?

My only thought is that it is something which is running on his machine which is clashing, or maybe a particular bit of hardware. These oddities do occur as I can atest on the machine I'm using now in the video driver dept. This made lots of software act up so downdated it and things went almost normal, though this machine seems to have a pci problem where it plays about with the sound during lots of graphics or disc activity. Bloomin via chipset trouble.

You should know that NVDA does not work anywhere near as well with IE at this stage. It cannot handle pages with frames or pages with content that updates dynamically. I really wish I could understand why Firefox crashes for you - you seem to be the only person now to be experiencing such problems with NVDA and Firefox. Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas as to what you can try.
