[nvda] Re: autorun.inf on a thumb drive

hi all and list moderator,
allow me to send this off topic mail just to help our fellow members about
their thumb drives.

hi Golden, Tuukka Ojala and others,
try the following and i hope the menu will pop-up again for your thumb drive.

1. plug-in your thumb drive, in this case, i assume it is on drive f:\.

2. go to "my computer" and look for drive F:\, press alt+enter to access the
properties for that thumb drive.

3. press ctrl+tab until you land at "auto play page".

4. here you can select the content type and you also can select an option to
display. so what you need to do is, select one-by-one
and tab to the action combo box and choose "Prompt me each time to choose an
action", and finally tab to apply button to complete
the process.

note: you must do for all file type, there is normally 4 file types selection,
that is

Music files
Pictures
Video files
Mixed content

hope this helps.

** if you need more advice regards to this tips, kindly email me off list.

thank you.

Warmest Regards,
Allan Wong

i have to go to my computer instead and goto my Kingston flash drive and hit
the apps key and arrow down to start nvda and hit enter to launch it
