Yeah strike that idea, it doesn't work with NVDA because of the keyboard
hook implementation. But yeah if it worked, you should be able to press the
left alt+shift keys and use the number pad to move the mouse around.

I have known about the xp mouse keys feature for a while but I am not sure
i understand it fully. i know it gives a keyboard mouse similar to the
mouse emulation keys we get with some of the pro screenraders. but does
turning on the mouse key feature not conflict with wahtever functionality a
given screenreader uses the mmnumbpad for, i.e. the object navigation in
nda?
Does xp mouse keys require the numlock to be on or off?
Thanks much.

NVDA will already read objects under the mouse, press insert M to turn it

for XP in the accessibility options.

When the C++ video hooks are done, will NVDA read the mouse pointer?
Also, will you need aministrative privelages to run NVDA?
Will you need a video card with propperly working drivers for NVDA to
work? (When I first installing Windows, I have to manually install my
video drivers and I need speech)
