eSpeak doesn't make many such assumptions, but it does make some.
Actually, I've had a lot of trouble with this EG expansion and a few
others, such as the roman numeral expansions. Jonathan, is there any way
to disable these externally? Alternatively, we might need to discuss ways
to restrict them more.
