That error can happen if the page changes in a major way, but hitting ctrl+home or (at the very worst) NVDA+f5 to refresh should fix it, and it certainly shouldn't keep happening for every page thereafter. Is this relatively recent? Are you running the latest stable version of Firefox? 
Also, how often is once in a while (roughly speaking)?
