Thanks Burt - at the moment i'm heavily intrenched in a few online battles - but as soon as i declaire myself the winner of any of them, i'll take a look at the blind user's group.

Ron, you could try some of the usenet groups for non NVDA stuff.
Alt.comp.blind-users is a mixed bunch, with a couple of old-timers that know a bit, and a mix of mostly blind-users trying to figure out a wide range of computing issues, and posting the odd tidbit of comp-news. There are a few NVDA users there as well.

P.S.-of course there are groups dedicated to operating systems,(which ever one you use(boo vista,boo)...grin...) various programs and general classes of programs, and accessibility.
