[nvda] Re: Try this.info on address book size

Well this is not what happens. Its selective starts with pull down menus, then the context menu, then things like buttons, then the menu bar itself, then death. The nvda menu goes quite early on though. No I don't get it either, but on two different machines, the same thing occurs, so its no accident. It only happenns when you do operations on tha address book list and often you can get away with one action, but it seems to get worse for about four actions, after that if things still work, then you are pretty sure it will be fine. There is obviously something else at play here, in my view, but as it seems not to be obvious from the log I'm a bit stuck how to isolate it. Anyone else got any ideas? What about the new email software in Vista, does this work the same way os Outlook Express, or what?

This latter part is the bit I don't get. When the queue is full, whether right or wrong, NVDA currently simply drops the new event and logs a debugWarning, which is what you are seeing in the log. This would cause new events to be dropped, which should make NVDA practically stop working altogether. Once the events are cleared from the queue, it should start behaving again. In other words, it should either be completely dead or not dead at all as I understand it, unless the list is still open.
