[nvda] Re: Translation Succeeded

The issue is that versionInfo is also used by the GUI and those messages should be translated. I agree that the messages for the actual package shouldn't be translated, so distutils (setup.py) should probably always install a null translations class: 
import gettext
gettext.install()
If versionInfo wasn't used in the GUI as well, no translation would be necessary.
I'm not even sure how JAWS gets around the shortcut keys issue. We'll have to see what comes up as to what people want there, but I'd say leave it for now.

I guess all we can do as developers is mark any possible strings that are translatable, but if there was a large demand for NVDA in a certain language, then someone who is proficient in Python could hack and package a specific version for that language.
