[nvda] Re: Thunderbird, problem with the compose new message. window

Oh wow.
People have such delicate feelings these days.
what I meant by saying you can get at the code to make it better was something like, dont worry, all hope is not lost, thunderbird is an open source program which means one doesn't have to worry about bugging the mozilla team as much, because the source code is available to anyone and everyone, unlike say microsoft windows live messenger or ms outlook. If you find a closed source program that is inaccessible, you have to rely on the developer's attitude and the goodness of his heart, and if he won't cooperate, you're on your own and you'll be forever stuck and will have to rely on sighted assistance all the time. since NVDA and thunderbird are opensource, it is more likely that someone somehow someday in the not too distant future will find a workaround, I'm not saying it's going to be as Easy as flicking a switch or adding a couple lines of code here and there, just that the task of making things accessible will be helped along by the meer fact that the source code is available to people from all over the world.
I hope this clarifies things a bit.
