Hi friends. I use Thunderbird for my e-mail cliant. I want to ask, are NVDA support Thunderbird?
Both NVDA 0.5 and trunk support reading of Mozilla Gecko html controls. In other words, you can read messages in Thunderbird.
When i try to compose message in Thunderbird, i cannot read what i writing.
Aside from video hooks, there is no way to track the cursor in Thunderbird 2. Thunderbird 3, which is still alpha, supports IAccessible 2 which allows for this. NVDA trunk partially supports IAccessible 2 and I can tell you that it does allow you to read while composing messages in Thunderbird 3. However, it is still not quite ready for mainstream use and I'd only recommend trying it if you know what you are doing. You need to register the ia2 dll before it will work.
