[nvda] Re: Text editors and letter M with ViaVoice sapi4 synthesizer

At the present time there is no speech correction dictionaries programmed into NVDA. It has been discussed but I feel that the feature may not be implimented for a while to come yet. There are however correction dictionaries built into a few TTS engines that I know of. AT&T Natural Voices has an engine level dictionary and NEO Speech also has one. While I am not sure of how to edit Via Voice maybe the others mentioned could be a good tip for some. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Talksina" <talksina@xxxxxxxxx>

yes, i can confirm this. this is IBM ViaVoice's problem. when in some menus if there is some option that with a short cut key "M",
ViaVoice will say "meter" instead of "M".
so, you suppose it's not solvable anyway?
