[nvda] Re: Text editors and letter M with ViaVoice sapi4 synthesizer

yes, i can confirm this. this is IBM ViaVoice's problem. when in some menus if
there is some option that with a short cut key "M",
ViaVoice will say "meter" instead of "M".

Warmest Regards,
Allan Wong

Subject: [nvda] Text editors and letter M with ViaVoice sapi4 synthesizer

hi,
unfortunately right now I have no way to test it
but, from the italian community i received a feedback, that while
writing on a text editor, or in every application which requires to
type something, typing the M letter, with IBM ViaVoice sapi4 synth,
the voice instead of M, pronounces metri, (meters)
I do not know if it's a ViaVoice or NVDA problems, I encountered this
issue also in a very very old screen reader from Baum in Germany,
Virgo, who used that via voice synth
But another Italian program with this synth too, WinGuido, as I can
remember, does not work like that
Please take a look at that, verify if it says the same word in English too.
