[nvda] Re: Stalled log in log viewer

No I got the error sound in Firefox, but when I went to the log, the last entry was in Outlook Express.
Its happened before, but its flakey. I'm wondering if there is a case where it stops writing or maybe its trying to open a new file but has not deleted the old one. Does it always delete the old log when it starts. The effect could very well have been that it was looking at a log that stopped when the machine crashed earlier in the day in Outlook Express. I told you its one of those weeks for odd goings on, but not just in computers.

By "no apparent error", do you mena you got no error sound?
If there is no error sound, an error won't be logged. The error sound
literally means that an error was logged.

could deal with OE when you come to work on the new buffers for IE.

This is probably what will happen. NVDA's performance with OE is already
negatively impacted by the old IE code, so it'd be good to fix both sets
of issues.
