Of course, I know about the newer and better ways but, often, an OSM is still 
needed, at least here in Windows.

  Darel, i believe yoiu have a false perception on what an OSM (Off Screen 
Model) is you always alude to it when discussing accessibility, but this OSM is 
old technology that truthfully has been around since about 1993 and outspoken 
1.7.5 on the Mac. now these days we are moving on to newer and better ways of 
accessing the information that is written to the screen and it is not alwasy 
via this OSM that you keep mentioning.


  I will not get to the technical apsects of it here but there is allot of 
information written on the newer ways of accessing information just read it on 
the web.
