[nvda] Re: Some random thoughts

Then give us verbosity options so we as individuals can decide what we want
to hear and what we do not. Don't arbitrarily decide this for us. If you
do then NVDA probably will have many that will not want to use it.

Unfortunately, there are cases where announcement of "pane" does
indicate that one is entering a new parent window, which often indicates
a different logical grouping of controls. If the window name is empty,
not hearing "pane" in these cases could be problematic. Maybe we could
make an exception for these.

I disagree. I don't personally use this, but it gives one some
indication of how many windows one has open and how many times one is
likely to press alt+tab before ending up back at the start. I often have
a lot of windows open and if some of them ahve the same names, it can be
difficult to tell when one is beginning the cycle and when one is ending
it. Also, this information is towards the end of the utterance, and
given that one often repetitively presses alt+tab and the previous
utterance is silenced before the next, this is not really problematic.

I am the first to agree that excessive verbosity is annoying, but I'm
also reluctant to remove potentially useful information.
