Hi,
You can select text from web pages now, though it's a bit awkward.
First, do "select all" from your browser. Copy this selection to the
clipboard. Next, open a new notepad and paste the clipboard into it.
Finally, find the desired text in the notepad and do with it as you
like. Perhaps, a selection feature such as is found in the commercial
readers will be available in some future NVDA release. Meanwhile, the
workaround I suggest is available.
